Ahh, la vie.

One of my favorite cakes is definitively this one, a portuguese cake made of rich tea biscuits. Super tasty, but with lots of calories too... Oh well, we can't have it all. Here's the recipe , you must try this delicious thing! Um dos meus bolos favoritos é definitivamente o bolo de bolacha. Provavelmente é um dos mais calóricos também. Oh well , nada é perfeito... The jumpsuits are a new lover o'mine: like them short, comfy and cute, they're super easy to wear and a good alternative to dresses.  For my vacations, these are definitely the items I must take with me. Os  jumpsuits  são um recém-descoberto amor: gosto deles curtinhos, são super práticos e uma boa alternativa aos vestidos, para variar. Para as férias que se aproximam, estes são definitivamente os items a levar comigo.

Here at home cutlery are always disappearing without a trace, so now and then I have to buy a few new, was the case of these teaspoons. To give them a less boring look, decided to give them a few strokes with nail polish. Liked the result, think I'll extend the experience to the rest of the cutlery! Aqui por casa os talheres estão sempre a desaparecer sem deixar rasto, então volta e meia tenho de comprar uns quantos novos, como foi o caso destas colheres de sobremesa. Para lhes dar um ar menos aborrecido, decidi dar-lhes umas pinceladas com verniz de unhas nas extremidades. Gostei do resultado, acho que vou estender a experiência ao resto dos talheres!

These sandals are trendy now: some love it, others hate it. Me, absolutely adore it, think they're super cute. Sure, zero elegant, sexy or anything like that, but they bring back the girly child in me. Wish I had a pair of each color, but they're overpriced for some plastic sandals that a few years ago were a real bargain. So I don't think I'll wear them this summer, unless I make an amazing find on Ebay. And you, do you love it or hate it? Estas sandálias, agora em voga, não reúnem consenso: umas adoram, outras odeiam. Eu cá acho extremamente fofinhas. Sure , nada elegantes,  sexy nem nada que se pareça, mas apelam ao lado girly  e criança que há em mim. Gostava de ter umas? Sim, um par de cada cor! Mas estão a ser vendidas a preços super abusados para umas sandálias de plástico que há uns anos atrás eram uma verdadeira pechincha. Por isso não me parece que vá presentear os meus pés com umas, a menos que faça um grande achado no Ebay. 

Keeping my hair soft and shiny is no easy task. I've dry hair and it needs lots of care.  So I felt the need to add a new product to my hair care: a restructuring mask from Bioderma . I love this brand so my expectations were high and I was not disappointed. In the first application didn't notice any differences in my hair, but at second attempt I saw that was my fault, I wasn't applying it the right way: it's necessary to dry the hair with a towel before applying the mask and comb the hair after 3 minutes. After obeying these steps actually saw great results: the hair was way more soft and less frizzy. Approved! Manter o meu cabelo com aspecto sedoso e brilhante não é tarefa fácil. When I received the invitation from Carina and Carla to be photographed by them, immediately said yes. After this sneak peak to my bedroom, I decided to show you a bit more: the way I organize my jewelry and makeup (that basically are my only decorative items in this room). To keep my brushes I use a clear plastic cup from Zara Home, it was love at first sight, had to come  home with me, even before I knew what to do with it. My favorite lipsticks are exposed in a transparent box, bought at El Corte Inglés, it's very useful, now I don't waste too much time looking for the lipstick I want to use before leaving home. Now the jewelry: I have many necklaces, bracelets and headbands hanging on a cork board, but the jewelry I use the most is displayed in plastic floral dishes with vintage inspiration: one larger dish for necklaces and watches and a smaller dish for earrings and rings. And yes, the ice cream is another thing usual for me, more than it should! The asymmetrical dress is from  Wholesale  and it's a cool cotton dress, for those days when I'm not feeling creative and want something simple and practical to wear.  The necklace is from  Be Pretty.me , an online handmade jewelry store who sells amazing chain necklaces.  The white sandals were a real bargain, found at Jumbo, the supermarket. I love finding pieces in unlikely places, when I'm not even looking for them (and when I'm carrying cereal boxes and yogurt).
