Watch out fit girls: Biotherm Skin Fitness

Image

Image
Apresento-vos o Pur Detox Matcha .

Healthy habits // Tea Detox

Image
Nowadays, there are many ways you can detox your body and one of them is drinking tea. Some time ago, I had the opportunity to try the Tiny Tea Teatox, a special herb mix designed to assist with bloating, indigestion, cellulite, excess of weight and lack of energy. Never did a detox before, but I drink tea everyday so I was looking forward to do this! The goal was to drink this tea 3 times a day, 30 minutes before or after meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), during 14 days.

Yummy! // Pre-Gym Snack: The Easiest Protein Pancake - 3 ingredients only!

Image
Let me share with you my everyday pre-gym snack: an healthy mini pancake full of protein, with very few ingredients and made in less than 5 minutes. It isn't the prettiest pancake ever, but is the easiest to make: you only need eggs, oats, sweetener (sugar, stevia, honey... your choice), a blender and a frying pan.  Quality source of fiber, protein and carbs that gives you energy and satisfies your sweet tooth. Add banana or apple, sprinkle with lots of cinnamon, a dash of agave syrup or honey and enjoy! Guilt-free.  The quantities below make two pancakes.

Healthy Habits // Eating Organic Food

Image
Nowadays, organic food is trendy. And what's that? It's food that it's production respects the environment and uses social responsibility systems (such as the appreciation of hand labor). The only disadvantage is that they're more expensive than conventional food, being produced on a smaller scale (and the production costs are higher). However, organic foods are healthier and much tastier. In my online researches I found Clearspring , a website dedicated to organic food. Their goal is to get organic food back on the dining table, so we can enjoy the same quality of foods as our grandparents did. All their foods are vegan, organic, refined sugar-free, with no artificial additives, colourings or preservatives. They sell quality japanese and european foods prepared by professional producers, according to authentic tradicional recipes and their own original recipes developed for today needs. The brand gently sent me five Clearspring products so I could give it a try: ...

Healthy habits // That thing called gym...

Image

Lifestyle // About those trendy healthy habits

Image
I think we all agree that being healthy is trendy right now. Instagram and Facebook feeds are filled with detox juices, all kinds of seeds, fruits and vegetables, leggings, sneakers and fit bodies. Ideas to improve our lifestyle and words of encouragement to run and eat clean are everywhere. And this is a good trend, because everyone should take care of themselves. But everything with moderation! Forget dangerous diets and gym only in summer and start acquiring and improving healthy habits gradually, without denying yourself a nice chocolate or a lazy morning laying on your bed. Veggies and fruit are the best for your body, but I don't wanna live in a world without ice cream and candy - and it's ok to eat them occasionally (and we should remind ourselves we are omnivores, not herbivores). A bit of exercice does wonders, but you don't have to be a fitness guru. As everything, moderation is the key. With all this in mind, decided to start sharing with you some habits ...

Health & Lifestyle // Food Intolerance Test

Image
Recently made a food intolerance test in a clinic specialized in nutrition, detox and weight loss.  Very briefly, food intolerances are the effect of ill digestive processes, which results in poor metabolic absorption of nutrients. There's a very high probability you've some intolerances, studies show that about 80% of the population suffers from this problem. Symptoms that may indicate you suffer from intolerance: bloating, irritability without apparent cause, headaches, abnormal difficulty in losing weight. I've been trying to have a healthier diet so I really wanted to take this test. It took about 50 minutes and knew immediately the results. Have very few intolerances and also have a very short list of pre-intolerances - the intolerances should be removed from my diet and I've to moderate the consumption of foods to which I'm pre-intolerant. So, I'm intolerant to soy, dry sherry and toasted bread, goodbye cheese toasts! The soy issue is more problemati...
