Ahh, la vie.

Here at home cutlery are always disappearing without a trace, so now and then I have to buy a few new, was the case of these teaspoons. To give them a less boring look, decided to give them a few strokes with nail polish. Liked the result, think I'll extend the experience to the rest of the cutlery! Aqui por casa os talheres estão sempre a desaparecer sem deixar rasto, então volta e meia tenho de comprar uns quantos novos, como foi o caso destas colheres de sobremesa. Para lhes dar um ar menos aborrecido, decidi dar-lhes umas pinceladas com verniz de unhas nas extremidades. Gostei do resultado, acho que vou estender a experiência ao resto dos talheres!

A simple hair clip, half cut pearls, a little bit of glue and voilá. I have a new pearl accessory. This one comes in handy to wear with my dresses. What you're seeing here is basically the way I dress every time I go to the beach: shorts and a top. Had this top at home that I didn't use because it's was too large and long, so I decided to make this DIY I found  here . It was a tedious process because I had to cut several thin strips of fabric and I hate cutting fabric. But in the end, liked the result. It shows skin, but not too much. It didn't become as tight as it was supposed to be because the top was too large still, but I prefer it this way, because the strips are not stretched and the overall effect is better. If you want to give it a try, the tutorial is very explicit. Attention: The total number of  strips you cut out,  must be even.
