    Yes, this is a very, very true quote. Another quote about shoes I like is "Give a woman the right shoes and she can conquer the world". That's printed above the shoe-section in the River Island near me. It always makes me buy (or at least try on) a pair. Or two.

Black Velvet Dress

Dress - c/o Sosolo | Shoes - Pull & Bear | Bag - c/o Pinkoholic | Gloves & Beanie - Primark  I've a crush for velvet clothes and in my closet I've two velvet dresses already: one from Stradivarius to wear at night (it's very tight and sexy) and this one from Sosolo , to wear by day. Although I think would prefer it with long sleeves, this way I can wear it anytime of the year. Yes I know that velvet is more appropriated for cold seasons but I see myself wearing it during Spring and Summer too.  About it's brand, it came from a store I didn't know till a month ago but now I love. Got three pieces from Sosolo : a vintage sweater ( shown here ), this pretty dress and a set of rings I'll show you later. Faux Leather Jacket and Lace Dress

Sure I've a few with some lace details, but not in it's totality. Decided to take a risk and choose it in a light color, because my usual choice is always black dresses, but I have to vary, wearing only black eventually becomes boring. About the jacket, I've always had a crush on (faux) leather jackets, they're so edgy and cool. So, although I already have a leather jacket, I needed a new one, they're never too much! This one from Sheinside is amazing, it's very well made and fits me perfectly. So, I'm super happy with these two pieces and I'll wear them a lot!
