2012 was a comme ci comme ça year. Never had the habit of looking back at what I did or didn't do every year, but I can point out that the greatest achievement of 2012 was to have started blogging. I start many projects but keeping them up and running it's a rare feat. So this blog is kind of fills me with pride and joy. See you in 2013! 2012 foi um ano comme ci comme ça . Received, for reviewing purposes, this nail polish from Born Pretty Store , along with a black stripping tape and a shiny ring. The nail polish has an exceptional coverage, with a solid color, doesn't even require a second layer. Accordingly, these photos show only one layer and top coat applied. The color is gorgeous, I've used the polish several times and can't get tired of it. It's also resistant, as it lasts almost a week without peeling. Wanted to do a manicure like this for a long time, with a horizontal black line under a solid color, but could not draw it with enough precision. Dress - The Remedi | Shoes - Marypaz  A warm and sunny day in early winter was like a Christmas present. Rare are the occasions I can wear a sleeveless dress and silk tights in this season without shaking!  This is the dress from The Remedi I told you about . The dress is so rich in details so I chose not to accessorize, just combined the color of the nail polish with the color of the beads, although at the time didn't remembered to capture that little detail. The dress, a great handmade work, has an outstanding confection, but sadly it doesn't suit me very well, it's a bit too large. I'm a petite girl, with extra 10cm high and more pronounced curves certainly would look better on me. Oh well... The best winter drink is hot chocolate, without a doubt. I've made a few attempts to create a creamy hot chocolate, but only this time I was successful. If you want to give it a try, here's the recipe,  to warm you on the coldest days: Hot chocolate Ingredients (for two cups): - 1 chocolate bar 150g - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch - 500ml milk Chop the chocolate into small even-sized chunks so that it melts quickly and uniformly. Fill a large skillet with water, and heat. Place the chocolate in a bowl and place it in the water. Gently and constantly stir the chocolate until it melts. Then, add milk, stir, add the cornstarch previously dissolved in milk and stir again, until thickened. It's consistency depends in how you like your chocolate:  if you prefer a more liquid chocolate, just add more milk, if you prefer it thicker, add another tablespoon of cornstarch. When it comes to fashion, I'm more into the past, but there are times when the future captivates me. This is the case of the holographic trend.  About holographic clothes, think it's a little too much for me but accessories like a pair of sunglasses, a belt or some shoes could work well in a black outfit. I've had this for a while now, a little box full of stamping nail art plates but couldn't use them because didn't have the proper stamp. Since I bought it, I've been doing countless experiences and I tell you, this is great entertainment. The whole process is easy enough, what you need is patience if you want to stamp all your nails, 'cause it can take some time. This set from Cheeky comes with 26 plates and 161 different designs (so many!), in a more-than-adorable box. Considering the cheer variety, I would take it as a good enough investment. What about the quality? All plates are protected by a scratch-resistant coating so it can be stored without suffering damage due to friction. As you can imagine, didn't tried them all, but the ones I tried worked very well and the nail polish was always transferred flawlessly in every design.
