Ahh, la vie.

Something tells me these three beauties and me are gonna be BFFs this summer. Wear them almost everyday, the colors are super cute. They're from GOcheapLOOKchic, an online portuguese store that sells amazing jewelry. Have to show you the rest of my accessories from there! It's been a while since I got this set from The Body Shop in a giveaway the brand did on Valentine's day. My theory is, as I had an awful Valentine's Day (was ill, with fever, in bed all day), karma decided to reward me with this treat. Was extremely happy, I love TBS products and they came in an adorable heart-shaped metal box. The funny thing is I liked the box more that the products itself, the Chocomania set is definitively not my favorite 'cause I don't like its scent.  However, fragrances aside, the quality is undeniable: the body butter is thick and super moisturizing and the body scrub makes my skin incredibly soft. However don't recommend it to sensitive skin, it's a bit aggressive. About the lip balm I can't say a thing 'cause I gave it to my mom, but she liked it and uses it regularly. Wanted to share with you some details from my bedroom: the iron bed, the porcelain door knob, the colorful tiles (that belong to the hallway, not my bedroom, but couldn't stop sharing)... In another post I'll show you the rest of my room, more specifically how I organize all my jewelry and makeup. All the items I've received from there are exceptional in terms of quality, use them extensively in daily basis and they remain like brand new. This skirt was my latest purchase and I am telling you I'm absolutely in love with this super girly and adorable skirt, makes me want to jump and spin with it. The shirt, from Dresslink , has amazing sleeves with cuts, which makes my arms look thinner. Along with the transparency, it gives a sexy but elegant look (note to myself: do not forget to use a top under the shirt next time). It will be a item I'll wear a lot this summer for sure, especially in the evenings. Don't you just love it when you go for a walk and find the most amazing shoes at a street market for only 4 euros? And if I tell you those adorable shoes are brand new and made of leather? Of course I had to buy them.  Also adore my heart tights and they were really inexpensive: bought them on Ebay, 2 euros only.  Não adoram quando saem de casa apenas para dar um passeio e acabam o dia com uns sapatinhos novos comprados numa feira de velharias, por 4 euros? E não é fantástico quando esses sapatos estão em óptimo estado porque nunca foram usados e são de pele? Coisas destas deviam acontecer mais vezes!  Os collants foram outro bom negócio, comprados no Ebay por apenas 2 euros. 

Last month, on Mother's Day, I received a Lush bath bomb in my mailbox. The brand also offered my mum a lovely tulip (bubble bath!). Used the ballistic some time ago and today was the day to try out the tulip bubble bath ("stole" it from mum just for experiment purposes!) MUM TULIP  A lovely wand that gives you a bubble bath of chocolate and orange (and can be used up to 6 times!). When it's finished, you can plant the seeds that came along in the label and grow some wild flowers. What I think after using it once: woooow. Impossible not to love a bubble bath. Spent an eternity inside the tub, it was so relaxing. It costs 7,95EUR. SECRET GARDEN  A bath ballistic, whose interior is filled with petals. What's a ballistic? It's a product that you put into the bath water, it will dissolve, giving the water a cute color and scent. The idea isn't to create bath foam but to stain the water with fancy colors and make it more moisturizing and ...

This time, this little wonder doesn't belong to me but to my mom, she made this tasty pie for me. Must confess I love pies but have no patience to make them, so it's amazing when I'm at home and smell a freshly made pie.  Lemon Pie INGREDIENTS Dough 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 130 grams butter 1 egg a pinch of salt Filling 1 lemon 250 grams sugar 100 grams butter 2 tbsps cornstarch 4 eggs a pinch of salt Dough: Mix the flour, sugar and salt together in a large bowl. Cut the butter in small chunks and mix it, adding the egg too. Mix all the things together. If your dough is a little sticky and you can't make a ball with it add a little more flour. Let the dough rest some time, then roll it and place it on the form. Prick several times on the crust with a fork. Preheat oven to 175°C and bake the tart for 20 minutes.
